Arrival and departure
Check in is from 3pm but it’s always possible the room will be available earlier, so please call us and check. Departure is from 11am although we are happy to leave it until later if there are no incoming guests for the room.
Please note that the hotel does not operate a 24 reception desk, so if you plan to arrive after 10pm please call the hotel in advance so they can arrange access.
Parking
Parking in Bradford on Avon can be difficult. At Timbrell’s Yard we have our own small car park for residents but there are just 5 spaces. However, we do have permits for the station car park, which is only a two-minute walk away – click below to see where the public car parks are.
Children
Dogs
Dogs are welcome in all of our rooms and we provide a surprise Goody Pack. However, if you are bringing a dog then they must not be left alone in the bedroom/bathroom at any time unless they are in a secure crate. Any damage caused to the paintwork or furnishings will be chargeable.. We charge a £15 supplement per dog per stay to cover cleaning costs.
Cancellation T&Cs
With the exception of Early Booker, Non-Refundable rates, we ask that reservations are cancelled 7 days prior to the stay to avoid a penalty charge of the full stay. All reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card to secure the booking and payment will be taken prior to arrival, in line with the cancellation policy.

Public Transport
Bradford on Avon is a rural town, and public transport is limited however there are regular bus services to Bath, Salisbury and Corsham. Bus timetables can be found at http://www.connectingwiltshire.co.uk/
The nearest train station is in Bradford on Avon and is only 3 minutes walk from Timbrell’s Yard. Bradford on Avon lies on the line between Westbury and Bath. There are regular services to Bath which take around 12 minutes.
There are local taxi services that have accessible taxis if required, but they require advance booking. Please ask at the reception for more details or refer to the Room Information document in your room where a list of local taxis can be found.
Arrival by Car
Bradford on Avon is easily accessible by car from the A36 a short distance to the west or from the M4 to the north.

Timbrell’s Yard is a Grade II listed Coaching Inn in the centre of the lovely town of Bradford on Avon. Timbrell’s Yard offers a public bar, restaurant, courtyard and 17 en suite rooms on raised ground, first and second floors. We want all our guests to feel welcome and to have a relaxing visit; where possible facilities are in place to accommodate all our visitors but the historic nature of the building means that there are some limitations to what we can offer as outlined in our full access statement. Please do call if there is anything you would like to discuss or clarify and we will do our best to meet your requirements.
